Buying a supplement for yourself is easy, you already know what you're short on. Buying one as a gift is a different problem entirely, because the giver rarely knows whether the person they're shopping for needs help sleeping, managing stress, their gut, or just a daily multivitamin. Left to browse a wall of near-identical gummy jars, most gifters give up and buy something generic instead. So the real creative problem here wasn't the box, it was solving that decision paralysis before it happened. The poster does the heavy lifting: instead of listing products, it organises the entire OLLY range by need and recipient — Sweet Sleep, Stress No More, Gut Health, Daily Drivers, For Her, For Him — so a gifter reads their way straight to the two jars that actually fit the person on their list, no category expertise required.
The gift box, teal colourway with a die-cut tree window lets the two chosen jars sit like ornaments.
Gift box in coral, two colourways giving the display range shelf variety without touching the product inside.
The reward for solving that problem is the box itself. A die-cut Christmas-tree window lets the two chosen jars sit inside like ornaments with a debossed OLLY seal standing in on the reverse for a clean, giftable finish. Built in two colourways so the display itself pops at shelf without competing with the product photography inside, the box turns "pick any 2 supplements" into a small piece of theatre: buy for someone specific, and walk away with something that already looks wrapped. As a creative agency in Kuala Lumpur, we designed the mechanic to solve the gifter's real problem first, the box was simply how we rewarded them for making the right call.
The gift-finder, the whole OLLY range sorted by who it's for, so the right two jars take five seconds to find.
Gift-with-purchase campaigns are everywhere at Christmas, and most of them fail for the same reason: the free item gets all the design attention while the actual purchase decision — what do I even buy — is left unsolved. In categories where the product range is genuinely hard to navigate, like health and wellness, that gap is the whole opportunity. The discipline is designing the decision aid as carefully as the reward: organising a complex range by the real question a shopper is asking (not "which supplement" but "who is this for and what do they need"), so the mechanic earns its conversion before the free gift ever enters the picture. The gift box then makes the moment of completing that decision feel good enough to act on immediately. As a creative agency in Kuala Lumpur, we design GWP mechanics, gift-finder communication, and festive BTL campaigns for wellness, FMCG, and lifestyle brands across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
